Wholesale procurement platform Qogita raises $86M in Series B
Qogita, an e-commerce wholesale marketplace for health and beauty retailers, raised $86M (€80M) in Series B funding led by Dawn Capital. With a total raised amount of €119 million, they aim to invest in product development and category expansion. The round included participation from previous investors, including Series A lead Accel and Seed co-leads LocalGlobe and Bessemer Venture Partners.
Established in 2021 and led by CEO Manolis Manassakis, Qogita simplifies procurement for small and medium-sized retailers by connecting them with sellers, allowing easy selection of desired items from popular brands. Qogita ensures the best prices for each product, eliminating the need for buyers to compare deals or negotiate with different sellers. With over 10,000 buyers and 300 sellers across 28 countries, Qogita handles the entire purchase process, including shipping and delivery. The platform’s algorithm-based system optimally matches buyers’ carts with sellers for cost-savings, quality, and fast delivery.
Manolis Manassakis, CEO at Qogita, said:
“In an era when everyone is used to ordering goods and services from a meal to a car ride at the push of a button, it is unacceptable how difficult wholesale buying can be for small and medium-sized businesses.
Qogita was founded with a mission to transform procurement and provide the buying power and privileges of a global chain to every ambitious e-commerce platform or mid-sized store.
Over the past two years, we’ve been quietly building in service of our buyer and seller customers, and have made great strides so far, but there is of course, still more work to be done. We’re delighted to be working with an elite group of visionary investors to revolutionise wholesale procurement.”
