Omnicom Media Group Acquires Outpromo and Global Shopper
Omnicom Media Group has acquired Outpromo and Global Shopper, Brazil’s prominent commerce and retail media agencies. These acquisitions lay the groundwork for end-to-end e-commerce and retail media performance in the Latin American Market.
The completion is expected in the third quarter, depending on customary closing conditions, including regulatory approval. Moreover, both Ricardo Franken and Mauricio Gallian will continue to serve as the CEOs of Outpromo and Global Shopper. They will also retain leadership by holding a minority stake in their companies.
“Connecting this expertise with Omni Commerce (Omnicom’s recently launched ecosystem of tools, technology, data, and partnerships) will create end-to-end solutions that enable always-on insights, activation, optimization, and attribution across the entire commerce landscape,” Omnicom Media Group CEO Florian Adamski commented.
Outpromo, initially founded as a shopper marketing agency in 1999, has grown to lead the omni-commerce market in sectors such as household products and skincare. Its specialty services include retail e-marketing, e-commerce, social commerce, and retail media. Outpromo and Omnicom have collaborated since 2014, serving shared clients like Adidas, Heineken, and P&G.
Similarly, Global Shopper, with a team of 50+ professionals, holds commerce, innovation, and digital transformation expertise. Global Shopper has successfully delivered its services within various industries, including food and beverage, health and beauty, electronics, and footwear.
