Bentley Systems’ Seequent acquires Flow State Solutions

Infrastructure engineering software company Bentley Systems announced that its subsidiary Seequent has agreed to acquire Flow State Solutions. As a leader in geothermal simulation software, this move aims to solidify Seequent’s industry position further.

Bentley Systems offers cutting-edge software solutions to enhance global infrastructure, supporting the economy and the environment. Various professionals and organizations of varied sizes use its software solutions to design, construct, and operate roads and bridges, rail and transit, water and wastewater, public works and utilities, buildings and campuses, mining, and industrial facilities. Furthermore, the company generates more than $1 billion in 194 countries with over 5,000 colleagues.

Bentley Systems’ subsidiary Seequent enables organizations to make quicker, more informed decisions by providing industry-leading earth modeling, geo-data management, and team collaboration software. Their advanced technology transforms how customers operate. Moreover, the company facilitates sustainable mineral resource development, improved infrastructure design, renewable energy sourcing, and environmental impact reduction.

Similarly, Flow State Solutions offers geothermal reservoir, wellbore, and surface network simulation software. This plays a crucial role in assisting project developers and operators optimize geothermal resources and improve well performance. Combining Flow State Solutions’ Volsung portfolio with Seequent allows for an unparalleled end-to-end solution for reservoir analysis. Additionally, it allows for the seamless integration of detailed subsurface models built in Seequent’s Leapfrog Energy software into Flow State Solutions’ simulation environment.
