Caller identification giant Truecaller has rolled out its latest feature, bringing call recording and transcription capabilities to its users in India. This development marks an expansion for Truecaller, particularly in one of its largest markets.

Truecaller’s new AI-powered call recording feature is available exclusively to premium subscribers on both Android and iOS platforms. This integration aims to provide users with a streamlined experience, allowing them to record incoming and outgoing calls effortlessly within the Truecaller app.

This addition gives Truecaller users a convenient method to capture and manage important conversations. Leveraging Artificial Intelligence technology, the feature offers call recording, detailed transcription, and call summaries. This empowers users to engage fully in their conversations without the hassle of taking manual notes, thereby enhancing productivity during calls.

One notable aspect of Truecaller’s call recording and transcription service is its support for English and Hindi. Users can record and transcribe conversations in either language, ensuring accessibility and inclusivity.

To access the AI-powered call recording feature, users can subscribe to Truecaller’s premium plan. The plan starts at ₹79 ($0.95) per month or ₹529 ($6.38) per year. This pricing structure offers flexibility and affordability for users seeking enhanced communication capabilities.

Rishit Jhunjhunwala, Managing Director and Chief Product Officer at Truecaller, emphasized the company’s commitment to innovation and user satisfaction.
